@ Work
  • We are a handmade company that intends to stay handmade, we make all our products ourselves. We will never outsource our manufacturing.
  • We only use reputable suppliers and only buy ethically produced ingredients.
  • We only ever use biodegradable or recycled packaging.
  • We use natural cellulose adhesive tapes to fasten our little product packages.
  • We will always plainly list our ingredients and tell you the truth about what they will do for your skin....no snake oil here!
  • We try to use organic ingredients where possible, if not we use wildcrafted or fair trade...we do not charge inflated prices for our products.
  • We never use unneccesary or harmful chemicals in our products.
  • We never test on animals.
  • We always recycle the packaging sent to us to send out our orders...if you get bubble wrap...we got it from someone else!
  • We print all our own labels and hand cut all our own papers to order to reduce wastage.
  • We try to have minimal impact on our beautiful planet.
  • We have virtually no waste, everything is used or recycled.
  • As we live a 40 minute round trip from the post office, we try to visit only once or twice a week to save fuel, we also do all our banking through our local branch to help it stay open.
  • We are CarbonNeutral.

@ Home

  • We try to live a planet friendly lifestyle, we use biomass for heating, use low energy lightbulbs, recycle and compost, we are always on the lookout for new ways of saving energy.
  • We never use a tumble dryer, we have an old fashioned "pulley" on the ceiling which is fantastic, we can dry two loads of washing overnight!
  • We try not to use harmful chemicals in our home, I make my own biodegradable laundry liquid with the trimmings from the soap production.
  • If we get cold we put on a jumper!
  • We have reduced our waste to one black bag per month.
  • If it breaks we fix it, if it tears we mend it or make it into something else!
  • We don't holiday abroad.
  • We try to buy our food from local producers..least distance from farm to market.
  • We think that doing something is better than doing nothing!
